Installing
our cells is like the grown up version of stacking
blocks from childhood one next to another,
one on top of another. This is the simplicity of
modular construction the components are merely
identical building blocks installed one next to
another ready for connection to the rest of the
building. We like to think of them as appliances
that are installed much like a water heater or a
refrigerator just attach the electrical, plumbing
and mechanical equipment and the unit is ready for
use. As you will see in the video the process is
quick and painless without the need for embeds or
heavy hoisting and positioning equipment. Simply
bolt a shim to the slab and weld the cell to the
shim. Furthermore, while the extreme weight of pre-cast
concrete modular units prevent them from being handled
by anything other than a very large crane, our units
can be handled by much smaller equipment allowing
the cells to be installed in existing or high rise
buildings.
